Trial Run
Needed a proof of concept so we rosted a turkey. Got off to a bit of a late start though.

fed from an old-assed variac.

We pulled it off at 172 degrees in the thigh. Long way to go.

Dewalt on low, variac at about 30 volts and with the 58:1 gear reduction we got about 1.5 rpm.

We quickly realized that the flamed liked to lick the turkey, so it got some armor.

Which part of this doesn't seem like a good idea.
